  1. Excellent article, Jim and very timely. These are two attributes that are running high on our meters of importance for recruiting talent. Check out the book, The Perfect Close – we have an internal book club at Exp going through this book . The author, who does a great job of bringing the science of sales forward in his writing, also speaks of these two attributes – warmth and competence – as top in importance for sales professionals. Very good to read this now from its original source. Keep posting!
